About Instruction Partners

Through her work at Instruction Partners, Emily aims to strengthen instructional leadership in schools to ensure teachers have support to improve learning experiences and learning outcomes for students, especially students of color, students experiencing poverty, multilingual learners, and students with disabilities. She previously served as assistant commissioner of curriculum and instruction for the Tennessee Department of Education, overseeing K–12 core academics. Prior to that, Emily managed Teach For America's DC and Connecticut Regions and taught 7th-grade math. She holds a bachelor's in history from Yale University and a master's in education policy from Johns Hopkins University.

Doe is a career educator whose work reimagines schools so that students, especially those historically underserved, experience strong teaching and meaningful learning, and leave with the agency to choose the lives they want. At Instruction Partners, she explores how emerging technologies might deepen student thinking and strengthen instruction. Doe began her career in the classroom and went on to serve as a dean of curriculum and instruction, assistant principal, and principal, before leading leadership program design and development at UnboundEd. She holds bachelor's degrees in education and psychology from Smith College and a master's degree in child developmental psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Through her work at Instruction Partners, Keya Belt Robinson aims to help educators and school leaders understand how artificial intelligence can strengthen teaching and learning while expanding access and opportunity for all students. Across her work, she has focused on bridging emerging technologies, strong instructional practice, and the needs of learners historically underserved by educational systems. Prior to joining Instruction Partners, Keya served in senior design and innovation roles at the National Math and Science Initiative. Keya holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Bowie State University and a master’s degree in innovations in teaching and learning from McDaniel College.
