Focus on supporting strong leadership at the school system level. Help school system leaders get clear about where AI may play an appropriate role in teaching and learning and where it should not play a role. Help leaders make purposeful decisions about which tools and websites students have access to and which they don't, and lock down student access to general-purpose chatbots during assignments and assessments.
